I finally upgraded to a carbon fibre road bike, purchased it from http://www.jensonusa.com (February 16th 2015, clearance sale item). Then with the help of Walt's Bicycle Fitness & Wilderness, I had a professional fit service completed. I have made a couple of updates since starting with the saddle, I purchased a Selle Italia Vanox Rails Max Flight Gel Flow. Next I replaced the black foam bar tape with some red Fizik Performance Bar Tape, in part because I think the foam stuff just feels cheap, but mainly I thought red would look better.

I have made some more changes, switching from a smart phone/blue tooth speed & cadence tracking to a Garmin Edge 810, ANT+ speed & Cadence sensors, which use inertial sensors instead of magnets. Easier install, more aerodynamic and detract less from the aesthetics. Turn by Turn directions are handy with mapped out courses as well. I switched to the Mavick Acksium wheelset I had bought as an upgrade to my old bike. looked up the specs on the wheels that came with this bike, and discovered the Mavick ones I was keeping as spares were about 175 grams lighter for the pair.
